This year’s forum is part of the consultation process that will lead to the new EU strategy on the rights of the child.
The new strategy will provide a comprehensive policy framework for children’s rights, bringing all existing and future EU actions and policies on children’s rights under one single umbrella.
The consultation also includes the following steps: the roadmap for the strategy, which will be published online – the deadline for replies is 5 August; open public consultations, with a questionnaire that will be available online after 5 August; consultations with children.
